Governing Board of Directors (GB)
Grace Academy is governed by the Governing Board of Directors known as Trustees. The Governing Board is responsible for the corporate Governance of Grace Academy. The Trustees have legal duties for the charity and are responsible for the strategic direction and policy for the group of Academies within the Trust. Trustees determine the strategic framework, scheme of delegation, scope of sub-committees (LGB’s), executive functions and senior appointments. Grace Foundation is a member of the Governing Board.

Local Governing Body (LGB)
The LGB is a sub-committee of the Governing Board of Directors and is responsible for local Governance of the Academy within the strategic framework and scheme of delegation set by the Board. The LGB’s duties focus on students and covers:
• Standards, Admissions, Attendance, Discipline & Behaviour, Safeguarding, SEN & Inclusion
