AMAZING GCSE success at Grace Academy Darlaston rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted

We have continued to see year on year improvements with record numbers of students achieving level 4 and level 5 or above in English and Maths.

Commenting on the results Carl Salt, Principal, Grace Academy Darlaston, said:

“Results in all subjects are also strong demonstrating excellent progress for the Academy and, more importantly, for the students themselves.  With most students achieving outstanding success, they are all well prepared for the next step in their educational journey.

“I am again proud of the hard work and achievements of the staff and students at our Academy. The high, aspirational standards we have set our students over the past year are reflected in these GCSE results we have achieved across the curriculum, along with our continued focus on strengthening teaching and learning, and promoting literacy and maths.”

Many students are celebrating top grades including Callum Nock who achieved a fantastic grade 9 in Maths and said:

“All the hard work has been worth it to get my results.”

Successful student Amanpreet Kaur, who achieved two grade 8s and five grade 7s, said:

“All the hard work has paid off, I’m so happy with my results.”
