On Thursday 7th November, Year 10 BTEC Performing Arts students went to the Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton to see Shelagh Delaney’s iconic play ‘A Taste of Honey’ brought to life and up to date for modern audiences. It was a lively production that included an onstage band and the fast paced, prickly-sharp dialogue that the play is known for.
Students are studying the play as part of their BTEC Component 1 and will need to write about it as part of the coursework requirements. The live experience really helps to cement their understanding of the practical processes we explore in class. Thanks to the members of staff who came along to support us.
