Student Leadership

The Student Council & Leadership Team

At Grace Academy, we are proud to have a dedicated Student Leadership Team made up of our Head Students, Deputy Head Students, Prefects, and members of the Student Council.

We believe that student voice matters. Our leadership structure provides students with meaningful opportunities to express their views, contribute to school life, and take an active role in shaping our community.

Through these roles, students develop confidence, demonstrate responsibility, and work collaboratively to make a positive impact both within the academy and beyond. They lead by example, inspire their peers, and embody the core values of Grace Academy.

At Grace Academy, student voice is at the heart of our school community. We believe that when students are heard, real change can happen. Our Student Council and various student committees play a pivotal role in shaping academy life, acting as a key platform for students to share their ideas, raise concerns, and lead positive improvements. Throughout the school year, students are given a range of opportunities to make their voices heard, whether through surveys, focus groups, meetings, or special projects. These contributions have helped enhance many aspects of school life, including our food options, rewards systems, and the planning of community events. By actively involving students in decision-making, we empower them to take ownership of their school experience and help shape a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

We want the Grace Academy Values to become all of our values for life!

At Grace Academy, effective student leaders and committee members demonstrate responsibility, confidence, and strong communication skills. They work well in teams, listen respectfully, and show empathy towards others. With integrity and a positive attitude, they take initiative, solve problems creatively, and inspire their peers. These qualities help them make a real difference in our school community and prepare them for future success.

Our committee members and student council receive many things in return for their hard work and dedication including:

  • Training and skills development
  • A real opportunity to influence at Grace Academy
