Mid Year Admissions Form

Enquiries about mid year admissions should be made directly to the academy by telephone: 0121 568 3300 or email: enquiries@darlaston.graceacademy.org.uk

We manage mid-year admissions on the basis of student numbers per year group, and in accordance with our PAN.

You can apply for a place for your child at any time outside the normal admissions round. If there are spaces available in the year group you are applying for (as agreed by the local authority), your child will be offered a place. If there are no spaces available at the time of your application, your child’s name will be added to a waiting list for the relevant year group. When a space becomes available it will be filled by one of the pupils on the waiting list in accordance with our oversubscription criteria.

All students with an EHCP can consider naming Grace Academy Darlaston in their plan. Grace Academy Darlaston will then respond to this as a priority, identifying whether the named student’s education would be compatible with the education of others.

Applications should be submitted to gad.admissions@darlaston.graceacademy.org.uk or posted to The Admissions Department, Grace Academy Darlaston, Herberts Park Road, Wednesbury, WS10 8QJ.

A decision on receipt of your submitted application will be provided within 15 school days. 

Please note:

In order for us to process your application, a Supplementary Information Form (SIF)  must also be completed in addition to completing  either our online Admission form or collecting a form in person from Grace Academy Darlaston.

All completed SIF’s should be sent to gad.admissions@darlaston.graceacademy.org.uk

You can submit an application for a child at any point between 1st September 2025 and 20th July 2026, however it is important to remember that at the end of each school term (19th December 2025, 27th March 2026 & 20th July 2026) all applications will be removed from our system and the waiting list will close, therefore if you still wish to remain on our waiting list you will need to complete and submit a new application each term.
